Hello:
I had a quick question for the people out here that use goldwave.
I am patching into my mic jack with a patch chord to do some recording from another device. First, is there a way to hear what I'm recording while it's going on? Just so I know the progress.
Second, is there a way to have the recording stop when the audio is done?
Thanks.

To hear what you're doing, unmute your microphone under playback devices.
To have the recording stop when the audio is done, go in to gold wave, and then hit f11 for propperties. Now select the recording tab and then play around with the level activated recording feature. there's a help button in there, and it will explain all the options to you. It's very well written. HtH.

Awesome, thanks anthony. I'm goldwave retarded and didn't want to spend the weekend learning it.
